First Night Success: Trafalgar Events' Launch
The launch of this stylish new venue at 8-9 Northumberland Street went down a storm last night as 150 guests showed up for a fabulous party created by Clare Arouche. Caterer Dish provided delicious canapés and bowls of mini Thai beef salad and hot prawn cocktails, plus some magical theatre from the Canapé Bar, which guests just loved.

Open for business: Trafalgar Events at 8-9 Northumberland Street, WC1
From 13th October, Trafalgar Events will be open for business. This new event venue is headed up by Clare Arouche with both the environment and the organiser in mind. Research has been undertaken in the design of every aspect of the venue from the Lumicor recycled glass reception desk and colour therapy room colours to using sensor lights and waterless urinals.
As well as taking the environment into consideration, the overall effect of Trafalgar Events will be one of style. The venue is suited as much to a conference as it is to a glamorous reception or sit down dinner. Versatility and design are the key features here with stylish accoutrements in each room and modern artwork completing the designer finish. All collateral at the venue will be printed with soya inks on recycled paper and environmentally friendly pens and pencils will be given for guests’ use. Recycling will be undertaken for every aspect of the business from food to paper and suppliers have been chosen who have both an ethical and environmental policy.
The colour of each floor has been chosen with the effect of the user in mind.
Stretched over 5 floors, the lower ground floor can easily be transformed into a screening room or a disco and has a small courtyard attached for those wanting fresh air. The venue will be available for hire 7 days a week and overall can comfortably host a party for around 300 people, plus there are smaller rooms available for hire to accommodate just 8 for a meeting or lunch. A balcony is planned for the 1st floor which will be ready by Christmas. With the Olympics in sight, and its central location, this venue will sure to become a main player.
